On.. late 90s and early noughties’ music flashback

TGIF! While at work, I’m listening to late 90s and early 00s songs on the tube and finding the list on wikipedia. Also got some inspiration through this article on the top 100 songs of the noughties.  Listening to:

– British girl acts/bands: Eternal, Honeyz, Spice Girls (but of course), their spin-offs Mel C and Gerri Halliwell, Groovejet… these songs remind me of my A Level and uni days which was a bittersweet period (am I glad to leave the bad memories behind). Even found icky bands (who I haven’t thought about since forever) like A1 and 911! Also listening to Girls Aloud and Sugababes.

– British bands: Love Manic St Preachers (love the lead singers’ voice), Coldplay (but of course), Keane, Stereophonics, Jamiroquai.

Working on my top 10 favourite songs of all-time, to be published soon. Mayyyyybe needs to be extended to 20 – it’s hard to choose!
